A doctor who really delivers
We would like to announce the newest addition to the Women’s Health Center—Courtenay Diehl, MD. Dr. Diehl joins Michele Odrobina, MD, and Kimberly Chamberlain, CNM, to complete a trio of providers who offer well-rounded care and a variety of options for their patients.
Dr. Diehl received her medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at the Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education. She selected the Mayo School because of its reputation as one of the top residency programs in the country. While she excels at and enjoys both obstetrics and gynecology, she has a particular interest in the former. The Women’s Health Center offers her an opportunity to not only focus slightly more on obstetrics, but also to offer holistic care to her patients.
During her job search, Dr. Diehl was attracted to Medina because her husband, Benjamin, has family in New Jersey—and they both enjoy the Northeast. They prefer a community with a small-town atmosphere, and they are committed to staying here for the long term—they bought a house in the area this summer.
Jim Sinner, President and CEO of Medina Memorial Health Care System, says he is “excited that such a talented and passionate physician has joined our team. Women’s health is so important to our community, and our team of providers is second to none in this area.”
Diane Knight, director of the Women’s Health Center, agrees. “Not only is she a top physician in her field,” she says, “but she is approachable and easy to relate to, both of which are essential when it comes to delivering the highest quality of care.”
