Medina Memorial Hospital began serving our community over 90 years ago with a foundation based on solid values. Those values focused on patient needs, high quality of care and financial integrity. For more than 90 years, countless families have seen their loved ones cared for at the Medina Memorial Health Care System. We believe that our founding values remain at the core of our services today.
To help us meet the challenge of providing the highest quality care and customer service, Medina Memorial Health Care System is committed to bringing the latest technology, state-of-the-art equipment and innovative services to you and your family.
Some recent examples of this include the beautiful renovation of our Medical/Surgical Unit and TWIG Birthing Center, and addition of Teleradiology Services, enabling us to transmit testing images to various specialists for review and interpretation. We have added a Behavioral Health Unit to meet community needs for comprehensive short term mental health services to individuals who require rapid stabilization of acute psychiatric symptoms.
We are also extremely proud of our Lake Plains Dialysis Centers, two centers that rank among the top 20 in the country in effective dialysis outcomes.

Our Women’s Health Center has an exceptional team of physicians, as well as highly qualified Nurse Midwives.

Our commitment to quality services includes voluntary participation in accreditation by The Joint Commission, the nation's predominant standards-setting and accrediting body in health care. In addition, our Comprehensive Medical Rehabilitation unit is accredited by the prestigious Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Voluntary CARF accreditation demonstrates that an organization has made a commitment to meet nationally recognized standards for quality and to continually seek excellence in its services and programs We continually review performance in all key areas of patient care and safety in order to identify ways to constantly improve.
